Profile

Business context. Architecture depth. Delivery discipline.

I lead the Digital Solutions function at Al Meera Consumer Goods Company—one of five core IT domains alongside SAP, Infrastructure, Security and Support—with all five function managers reporting directly to the CTO.

My work starts before technology selection: understand the business model, challenge existing processes, use structured discovery and brainstorming to frame the problem, optimize workflows, compare architecture options, then move into fit-for-purpose Agile or Waterfall delivery, production operation and continuous improvement.

I lead through a flexible delivery model combining internal resources with offshore distributed vendor teams across multiple countries, while remaining deliberately hands-on with architecture, integration, data engineering and AI-assisted delivery.

My operating rangeBusiness model ↔ process ↔ architecture ↔ delivery ↔ operations

Technology operating model

Think deeply. Deliver with discipline. Operate seriously.

The operating discipline behind the platforms: structured discovery, fit-for-purpose Agile and Waterfall governance, distributed-team coordination and production accountability.

01

Discover before deciding

Use design-thinking principles, stakeholder discovery and structured brainstorming to examine the business model, current process, pain points, workflows and architecture options before committing to an important technology decision.

02

Deliver with disciplined governance

Use fit-for-purpose Agile or Waterfall delivery governance. For sprint-based software work, Jira is the system of record for backlogs, change requests and development, supported by sprint planning, daily stand-ups, delivery reviews and progress reporting.

03

Lead distributed delivery

Coordinate internal resources and offshore vendor teams across Qatar, Pakistan, the UAE and India, aligning priorities, dependencies, technical decisions and execution across e-commerce, POS, integration and loyalty streams.

Internal teams · offshore vendors · shared accountability
04

Operate mission-critical platforms

Treat production reliability as part of delivery. POS and the MuleSoft integration backbone require 24x7 operational readiness, disciplined change control, incident escalation, live monitoring and proactive support because outages can directly affect store sales and enterprise operations.

Enterprise Gift Card Platform

B2B liveB2C expansion

A digital stored-value platform launched first for corporate gifting and designed to expand into consumer, retail and partner channels without creating separate technology silos.

QAR 20M+ first-year transaction value
~10 corporate clients in the B2B launch
2 phases corporate launch → consumer expansion
The challenge

Build a reliable gift-card capability that could support corporate sales at launch, integrate with the retail environment, and provide a controlled foundation for a broader B2C proposition rather than solving each channel independently.

My role

Led the technical solution and delivery coordination across architecture, platform and vendor decisions, POS and integration dependencies, API governance, testing, rollout readiness and the technical path from the initial B2B proposition to B2C expansion.

Approach

Make the architecture, operating model and delivery discipline reinforce each other.

01
Start with a focused commercial use case

Launch the corporate B2B proposition first, creating a controlled path to production while proving the platform and operating model.

02
Design integration as a platform capability

Treat POS, APIs and downstream channels as part of one reusable architecture so future channels can be added without rebuilding the core product.

03
Build controls into delivery

Coordinate end-to-end testing, operational readiness, API governance and partner-facing integration as part of the product—not as post-launch additions.

04
Engineer for expansion

Use the B2B foundation to support the next consumer phase across retail, mobile and partner touchpoints while preserving one governed gift-card capability.

Evolution

Build deliberately, learn in production, then expand.

Phase 1
Corporate B2BLaunched

Established the corporate gift-card channel and onboarded approximately ten enterprise clients.

Phase 2
Consumer expansionIn progress

Extending the capability toward B2C retail, mobile and partner journeys while strengthening the existing corporate proposition.

Outcome

The first phase processed more than QAR 20 million in transaction value during its first year. More importantly, the implementation created a reusable digital transaction capability that can expand beyond corporate gifting into additional customer and partner journeys.

Digital Channels & Loyalty Acceleration

E-commerce liveLoyalty modernized

A sustained digital-channel acceleration program focused not only on front-end experience, but on the architecture, integration, performance, security, delivery and visibility required to operate customer platforms at enterprise scale.

Jun 2025 acceleration program started
Web + mobile commerce channels optimized
Mar 2026 new commerce platform live
The challenge

Accelerate e-commerce and loyalty while improving the foundations underneath them: complex backend integrations, application performance, search, caching, cloud resources, DevOps, security assurance and management visibility—all while coordinating internal teams and an external delivery vendor.

My role

Led technical supervision and architecture/governance across the external vendor and internal stakeholders, covering web and mobile applications, backend integration, caching, Elasticsearch, cloud resource management, CI/CD, VAPT remediation, security controls, dashboards and the connection between commerce and loyalty capabilities.

Approach

Make the architecture, operating model and delivery discipline reinforce each other.

01
Treat digital channels as an ecosystem

Work across web, mobile, loyalty, payments, OMS/fulfilment and partner integrations rather than optimizing each component in isolation.

02
Strengthen the runtime architecture

Improve caching, search, cloud-resource use and backend design so customer experience is supported by a more resilient and operable platform.

03
Make delivery repeatable and secure

Tighten DevOps/CI-CD, release discipline, VAPT follow-up and security controls while keeping delivery momentum with the external vendor.

04
Create operational visibility

Use dashboards and reporting to expose platform behavior, delivery progress and business-facing indicators so optimization continues after launch.

Evolution

Build deliberately, learn in production, then expand.

Phase 1
Stabilize & optimizeStarted Jun 2025

Accelerated improvements across the existing digital channels, integrations, infrastructure and operational controls.

Phase 2
Replatform & integrateDelivered

Brought the next-generation commerce platform into production with modern payments, aggregator connectivity and OMS/fulfilment architecture.

Phase 3
Operate & evolveOngoing

Continue optimization across e-commerce, loyalty, performance, security, reporting and partner/customer journeys.

Outcome

The new e-commerce platform went live in March 2026, while the broader program strengthened the architecture and operating model around digital channels—integrations, cloud resources, DevOps, security, search/caching, loyalty and management visibility—creating a better foundation for continued digital growth.
